Hi, I’m April! I own and operate Summit Web Design, now based in Olds, Alberta. After years of living and running businesses in Cochrane, I continue to work closely with small business owners throughout both communities and all areas in between. With 20 years of small business ownership and 10 years of experience in website design and development, I've had the opportunity to see business from both sides. I understand what it takes to build something of your own, the challenges that come with it, and how important it is to have people you can trust along the way.

Those experiences taught me a lot—mostly that running a business is never just “business”. It’s personal. It’s your livelihood, your time, your family, and your future all wrapped into one.

Somewhere along the way, I realized that what I enjoy most isn’t just building websites. It’s helping other small business owners make sense of their online presence. I love sitting down with people, hearing their ideas, understanding their challenges, and figuring out practical ways to help their businesses get noticed online.

Having been on the other side of things myself, I understand how overwhelming it can feel to manage a website, Google Business Profile, SEO & social media while also trying to run a business. That’s where I come in. I help bring those pieces together, offering straightforward advice, practical solutions and someone you can comfortably bounce ideas off of. No complicated jargon, no pressure, and certainly no such thing as a silly question.
